Vancouver TracesThis is a site created by Ross Jaimeson and his undergraduate Simon Fraser University students in Historical Archaeology Spring 2013. This site is comprised of various historical sites that students found important in Vancouver and the lower mainland of BC Canada. The theme of these sites include architecture, military, community, industry, recreation and institutional life. Some of these sites can still be seen on the landscape, some are in poor condition and some that only exist in memory and records.

This book looks at Norwegian settlement in British Columbia looking at prominent figures and their life, as well as the general lifestyles and occupations the settlers had. It even makes a comparison between Canada and Norway and more interestingly between the indigenous peoples life styles.
